Christmas Book Haul!

Lady Emily

Greetings fellow book lovers! I know also you are super excited to see two posts from me in one week! WHAT?!?! I  know it is so not like me to post this often but I felt a need to share, blog and get things out there otherwise it would just be silly to send out this post next week, so the sooner the better! Starting on the right foot for 2015! As you know the holidays have come and gone, and New Year has begun! With a year of promises, plans and anticipation to come, it is nice to look back on these few weeks to see the books people have blessed me with this holiday season. Since starting this blog, it is interesting to see and talk to people who actually read and follow me on this journey, and continue to support as I post… once every 3 months. Ouch, I know I am trying to be better. Along with people talking about my blog, I am more inclined to get Amazon, and Barnes and Nobles gift cards along with vast amount of books from people. It is always interesting to see what people choose as presents and if they base it off of what they like or what kind of books they think I would like. I like getting both kinds of book gifts, and this Christmas was so exception. So, the moment you have been waiting for, here is a list of books I got for Christmas this year:

  • A Fatal Waltz by Tasha Alexander
  • A Crimson Warning by Tasha Alexander
  • Behind the Shattered Glass by Tasha Alexander
  • Our Magnificent Bastard Tongue: The Untold History of English by John McWhorter
  • The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith and J.K. Rowling
  • The Darkest Hour by Tony Schumacher
  • Inferno: A Novel by Dan Brown
  • All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

You may have guessed by now but I really love Tasha Alexander! Her novels are mystery/thrillers and I cannot get enough of them! If you would like me to write a post about her and my thoughts on the series, let me know! But, also with receiving those luscious novels,  I received some other interesting reads; a few World War II based novels and some others I wouldn’t have picked on my own. I am excited to make them apart of my 2015 Reading challenge! Here is the link to that post if you want to join in the challenge along with me:

Hope you all have had a fantastic week!

Happy Friday and Reading!
