What’s on my Night Stand Feb’17

night-standIt feels like my life is in the midst of transition. There is much movement happening as we speak between work, church, this blog and friends that I am having trouble finishing books which is why the stack only night stand has gotten a little out of control. It also could be that I am in the middle of a book rut where I pick up one book, read 10-20 pages then put it down. Then I pick up another book, read 10-20 pages, put it down and the process repeats itself. *sigh* It is a little frustrating since I know the stack of great novels is in front of me, but I cannot get myself in the mindset I need to enjoy them. My bookworm heart is breaking and maybe I need a book that is moving as fast as my life is at the moment. Any recommendations? Leave them in the comments below! Without further ado, here is what is collecting dust, uhhh… I mean hanging out, on my night stand:

  • The Hope Chest by Viola Shipman (ARC)
  • The Orphan Train by Pam Jenoff (ARC, Out Feb 21st, That’s today LOL)
  • If I could Tell You by Elizabeth Wilhide (ARC)
  • Around The World in 80 Dates by Jennifer Cox
  • The Bridge Across the Ocean by Susan Meissner (ARC)
  • The Book Jumper by Mechthild Gläser
  • Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah K Maas (I know it’s still there)
  • Winter by Marissa Meyers (Can’t bring myself to finish this)

I am excited about these books even though I may not seem like it, I just need something to read that is currently reflecting my life. This is of course easier said than done, since I have a million and one books on my TBR list, and feel like I should be reading those instead. The life of a book blogger in a nut shell. Anyways, feel free to comment below your book suggestions and what you are currently loving/reading!

Happy Reading!
