It feels like my life is in the midst of transition. There is much movement happening as we speak between work, church, this blog and friends that I am having trouble finishing books which is why the stack only night stand has gotten a little out of control. It also could be that I am in the middle of a book rut where I pick up one book, read 10-20 pages then put it down. Then I pick up another book, read 10-20 pages, put it down and the process repeats itself. *sigh* It is a little frustrating since I know the stack of great novels is in front of me, but I cannot get myself in the mindset I need to enjoy them. My bookworm heart is breaking and maybe I need a book that is moving as fast as my life is at the moment. Any recommendations? Leave them in the comments below! - The Orphan Train by Pam Jenoff (ARC, Out Feb 21st, That’s today LOL)
- If I could Tell You by Elizabeth Wilhide (ARC)
- Around The World in 80 Dates by Jennifer Cox
- The Bridge Across the Ocean by Susan Meissner (ARC)
- The Book Jumper by Mechthild Gläser
- Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah K Maas (I know it’s still there)
- Winter by Marissa Meyers (Can’t bring myself to finish this)
I am excited about these books even though I may not seem like it, I just need something to read that is currently reflecting my life. This is of course easier said than done, since I have a million and one books on my TBR list, and feel like I should be reading those instead. The life of a book blogger in a nut shell.
