So it is that time again where I talk about my favorite books that I have read in the past month. Some have been very good, some okay and others were… not very good. But that is the beauty of readings different books; you get a chance to experience the diversity of literature. Some of them are well worth the risk and others you regret spending so much time on a book. So anyways here is a list of the few books I have enjoyed this past month:
– The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien: I wrote a blog post about this book and how much I enjoyed it. I am looking forward to reading other books from my past, the rest of the Lord of the Rings novels and experiencing what they have to say. Here is the link to that post:

– The Help: I also wrote a blog post about this book. This book was so inspiring to read and just made you rethink the way history affects our society and allows it to change so we can become a better one. Here is the link to the post:

– A Secret Affair by Mary Balogh: I did not mention this book on my blog since this is one of those books I tend to read only for myself. It’s a good, quick novel about two people who agree to become lovers unaware that they are on the path to love which result in bettering both characters. A novel like this one I read to give myself a break from all the other novels; I don’t take novels like these seriously but it was very good. I was hooked since page 1, and so if you are looking for a quick good that doesn’t deal with any brain power or thought process with a bit of sauce mixed then this book is for you!
– Ten Things I love about you by Julia Quinn: First off, I LOVE THIS AUTHOR! I will have to do an author at a glance post about her but her novels are just AMAZING! She does write romance novels, and now you have discovered that I secretly read romance novels, lol. This story was funny, cheeky, and just put me in a lovely, romantic mood. Her books always put a smile on my face; they are not your normal romance novels and are very, very good! This is another book I read to just break up the routine of incense novels.
So those are the four novels that I have enjoyed this past month. I have read lots of others but these were the ones that stuck out for me. I have also mentioned this in another post but I do read other books then the ones I talk about on the blog; much, much more from all different genres of literature. I sometimes read things that seem very interesting to me but would seem rather dull to someone else so I don’t mention those. Anyways, I hope everyone had a good month and I am looking forward to some of the books I am going to feature in March!
