I just wanted to inform you that if you do live in the U.K. there is to be a program on BBC 2 tonight about fiction. The show is called Faulks on Fiction which is going to have an in-depth look at some of the great works and characters of great British novels. This is to be a four-part series and I have to say that I am very excited about this program!!
This would be a firm example of looking at great works of fiction from a great nation such as the UK. The show is to be hosted by author Sebastian Faulks, who is going to guide us through many of the novels we know and love. The show is going to be on BBC 2 tonight at 9pm. Tonight’s episode is called The Hero, which is going to look at heroism in British novels and how they are portrayed.
For those of you who do not live in the UK and would like to know more about the program I am more than happy to give a guideline to each episode and the books he mentions. Below is a link to the website about the series:
